Why would I need to re-send the credit card authorization form?
The fax to the hotel will not be delivered if the hotel provided an incorrect fax number or if the hotel's fax machine is not working. Clarcity will send you an email 60 minutes after you booked your hotel if we could not confirm that the authorization form was received.
The hotel may misplace the faxed authorization form or the clerk may not be trained to retrieve it from the hotel's reservation system.
How do I re-send the credit card authorization form?
1. Log in to the Clarcity web site
2. Click on the Travel tab:
3. Click on the name of the trip in the appropriate tab under Your Latest Travel Summary:
4. Click on the Re-Send button:
5. Enter the correct fax number or email address. You will need to call the hotel or visit the hotels' website to obtain this information if you are not present at the hotel:
6. Click Send Payment Card Authorization. A fax may take several minutes to be delivered. An email will be delivered immediately.
